Account Questions
Your account is created when you place your first Mystic Access order. As part of the checkout process, you’re asked to create a password which you’ll use to sign into your account in future. The account allows you to view your order history, access digital product downloads, add multiple shipping addresses, and more.
Audio Tutorial Questions
Absolutely. Please put a message to us in the customer notes section letting us know that all of the tutorials in the order are for a single user, and we’ll make sure they’re all placed on a single card.
If there is enough interest in the product in question, then we may be considering it already. *smile* Feel free to ask us. One way to get customized support on a product of interest to you is to invest in one-on-one training from Mystic Access. Please check out our training options and rates, and feel free to contact us with specific questions.
All of our tutorials are available in both DAISY and MP3 formats. You receive access to both formats upon making your purchase. To discover which tutorial format may work best for you, please visit this page.
You can download your tutorials up to 3 (three) times. These copies are for your personal use only. This way if you lose your copy or the thumb drive you put it on dies, etc, you have two more opportunities to access your downloads. If you need your downloads again after they have expired (after three successful downloads of any tutorial you purchased) then please contact us. We will reset your downloads at our discretion.
Refunds are not offered on our digital products. We make every effort to showcase the quality of our audio production and content in the detailed site copy and audio samples that we provide. we also have multiple free downloads and podcasts available for download which, we feel, demonstrate the quality of our work. You can, of course… the question we’d like you to ask yourself, though, is whether you should? We put a tremendous amount of time, attention and care into the crafting of every tutorial we sell. There are often hundreds of hours of research, recording, editing and production that go into our tutorials. Mystic Access is our business — it puts food on our tables and clothes on our backs, and when someone blatantly offers our work for download, via a list or in another manner, that directly impacts our business in a negative way.
So… if you enjoy what we do… either our free offerings or our paid ones, or both, and if you want to contribute towards our future success, then we encourage you not to download our paid products for free. We also ask that if you know this is going on that you let us know so we can take appropriate action.
Your purchased tutorials will be available in your downloads section of your Mystic Access account. You can download the digital files to your computer, Victor Stream, or any other DAISY / MP3 player of your choosing.
The SD card is a convenience to our customers, allowing them to have a physical copy of their products. Many people download the tutorials while the hardware is in transit to them, so they can get started learning right away.
If you would rather have a tutorial sent to you on alternative media, such as an MP3 CD or thumb drive, you can select those options on the product pages, or tell us when you’re ordering via phone. CD’s are in the DAISY audio format. They are playable in DAISY book readers or regular MP3 CD players.
If you plan on playing your tutorial on an iDevice or Android device using the Voice Dream Reader application, the easiest way is to download the DAISY, leave the tutorial zipped, and put it in Dropbox or whatever method you most prefer to transfer your files to Voice Dream Reader.
If your reading method of choice is using a DAISY book reader such as a Stream or Book Port, you’ll want to download the DAISY version of your tutorial, unzip it into a folder, and place that unzipped folder into the relevant DAISY folder of your device, such as $VRDTB on the stream.
The easiest way to use the MP3 version of a tutorial is to download it to your computer, unzip it, and use the playlist (M3U) file to navigate.
The difference between the DAISY and MP3 versions is that the DAISY includes the navigation files necessary for proper DAISY playback in relevant devices.

You are not charged until the day the pre-ordered product is released to the public. On that day you will receive all relevant information for receiving your pre-ordered product, and your payment method will be charged.
A product marked as “Pay Your Own Price” allows the customer to specify the price they would be willing to pay for that product.
All products have a minimum price that the customer will pay. You can either select a price from within an edit combo box by using up and down arrow, or type in your own price. For example, if you want to pay $6.35, just type 6.35.
Yes, we offer free shipping on certain hardware products. If your cart total is $49.00 or more, and you are in the United States, you can choose free shipping during checkout. However, there may be products for which free shipping is not included, such as products shipped by our partners. So, if you don’t see free shipping during the checkout process, free shipping is excluded. An example of a category where free shipping is never included is our Guidelights and Gadgets Collaborations category.
Pre-Ordering Products
Due to the complexity of the pre-orders plugin we use, you can only pre-order one product at a time, and can’t have any other items in your shopping cart when you put a pre-order product into your cart. We apologize for this inconvenience.
To place a pre-order:
- Find the item you wish to pre-order, and add it to your cart using the “Pre-Order” button
- View your cart (one way to get there is by finding the link in our main navigation menu at the top of the page
- Once there, you may review the details of your pre-order and proceed to checkout
- repeat this process for any other items you wish to pre-order

Shipping and Item Delivery
We ship as quickly as possible, usually within one to two business days if we have your item in stock. The length of time it takes for you to receive your SD card / hardware will depend on your location. We send you a tracking number via email upon shipment of your items. Our regular shipping can be included at no additional cost, and this method can take between two and nine business days after your package is mailed. You may also choose faster shipping at checkout for an additional fee if you’d like your items more quickly.
No, we do not ship internationally. sorry. You may be able to find many of our hardware offerings in your own country, particularly via your country’s Amazon site. Also, we do offer digital downloads of every tutorial that we sell.
Absolutely. Our system allows you to have multiple shipping addresses as part of your account. So any time you want to ship to someone else, you can just add their address when you place your order. And don’t worry — if you buy a lot of gifts for your sister, her address will be available in your account any time you want to send her some Mystic Access goodies. Thanks for sharing the love!
Sure, we can do that. When viewing our tutorial products you’ll find a heading at level two that asks if you’re not comfortable downloading online. Under this descriptive heading is a checkbox allowing you to add physical media which will be shipped to you, such as an SD card, thumb drive, data CD DVD, or NLS cartridge. Each type of media is shown as a radio button. You’re required to select one. These media options only appear if the checkbox is checked.
If you’re calling to place your order, please tell the person who places your phone order what physical media you’d prefer.
Please note that you’ll need a computer, or MP3 capable CD player to play data CD’s. To play data sent on a flash / thumb drive, you’ll require one of the NLS players, a DAISY player with an appropriate cable for inserting the drive, or a computer.

The files offered on our Free Downloads page are either MP3 audio files or zipped files. The monthly events for example are always MP3 files that don’t require unzipping. Other downloads such as DAISY files do. There are several, if not hundreds of files within a DAISY book, which is why they are always zipped.
If you view a download’s details you’ll always see file names including information on that specific file’s format. Two examples are “AWorldOfChromebooksWithQuestions.mp3”, and “BrailleNoteTouchPlusDAISYAudioTutorial.zip.”
