Hi, Everyone,
Happy end of October. We hope you’re having a great month and that it’s whatever temperature you like best outside. Having 70s in western NY right now is very weird, but we’ll get back to fall before we know it.
Today we have a special announcement that we’re super excited about! It’s a bran new product that we’re thrilled to share with everyone. This has actually been in the pipeline since last year, but with Chris’s illness it’s just taken this long to get it ready for you. We hope it’s, well, music to your ears. We’re delighted to announce TuneIn Audio Documentation: Your Guide to Accessible Listening Adventures. If you’ve ever heard of the TuneIn database and wondered what it was, how to access it, and if it really had enough stations, sports coverage, podcasts, and additional audio to capture your interest, this audio is for you. As with all our audios, we begin from the basics of discussing what TuneIn is and how it works, advantages and disadvantages, how to handle the dynamic content the services offers, ways to listen, and how accessible it all is with screen readers. One of the ways to get the most out of TuneIn in our opinion is via searches, and we show multiple ways to search in this nearly seven-hour audio course. There are also features like Recents, Similar To, Car Mode, Local Radio, and others that make finding content easier. We also talk a lot about favoriting content and some advantages and disadvantages in that process. You may know that Kim is passionate about music, so we’ll visit lots of genres, podcasts, sports teams, and more.
This audio takes you through using TuneIn on the PC, iOS, Android, Fire OS, and the Victor stream 3. You can use your voice to play TuneIn stations with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, with mixed results, as you’ll hear. You’ll learn how to use the service as both a free and premium user. And we’ll share troubleshooting tips for those times when you get stuck and things don’t cooperate. Visit this link to learn even more and purchase at a big debut discount for the documentations debut! We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed putting it together. TuneIn is a huge site with so many dynamic moving parts, and we hope our documentation makes using it way less tricky and more of a treat. Definitely let us know what you think. You have a little longer to take advantage of this treat sale as we’re celebrating the release. The sale ends on November 8.
Have a wonderful, spookily spectacular end to your month, and thanks for being part of our community. We appreciate you.
Warm Wishes,
Chris and Kim
The Mystic Access Team
