Free Upcoming Event; Meet the Mac

Hi, Everyone,

Hope your summer has been going beautifully, and that all is well and happy in your world. We’re enjoying a nice transition to fall here at our NC summer home. We’re returning to NY soon, which is bittersweet, but it’ll be lovely to be home, too. Fall is my absolute favorite season, so I can’t complain at all.

Anyway, you opened this message to hear about our upcoming event, and it’s an exciting one. We’re collaborating with our friend and colleague Emily Romero to bring you a fun and informative introduction to the Mac. If you’re a PC user who has wondered what the Mac is all about, a lover of iOS who has thought about switching to a Mac for your computer use, or just curious, this jam-packed event is a great starting place. Learn what makes the Mac a great choice for screen reader users, how several of its keys and keystrokes differ from those on a PC, meet some of its fully accessible apps, and so much more. The Mac is something that Mystic has been asked to tackle for several years, so we’re excited to take up that challenge with the help of Emily and her tremendous knowledge and great presentation style. You’ll learn a bit about navigating, get familiar with important vocabulary terms, and discover how a chess board can help you get around your Mac. Yes, really. We also touch on the cost involved in purchasing a Mac, and some strong financial benefits of ownership, too. Register for free by visiting this page.

Emily Romero is your primary instructor for this virtual event. If you haven’t met Emily yet, and want to learn more about her, and some about the Mac as well prior to the event, check out our recent podcast castle segment.

This event takes place on Tuesday, September 24 at 8:00 PM eastern time, 7:00 mountain, 6:00 central, 5:00 pacific. All you need to do to register is to enter your name and email address into our form, plus tell us a little about your interest in the event and/or the Mac. If you can’t attend live, please save a seat for someone else, as the event will be available for download shortly after the live call. Check out this link for hundreds of hours of free demos and past live event recordings.

Bring your questions, as they’ll be plenty of time to answer and discuss. We can’t wait to have you. Again, visit this page to register your free seat. If you have friends or colleagues who may be interested, please forward them this email with our gratitude.
