Happy weekend. We rarely pop into your inbox on a Saturday but wanted you to be the first to know about what we’re sure will be a hugely popular event. People have asked us for years how to successfully use Facebook, and for just as many years we’ve thought putting something together on the scale that we’d want would be impossible. However, after tons of requests and lots of time spent thinking and outlining, we’re finally bringing you a comprehensive event on using Facebook using a PC, iOS, Fire OS, and / or Android. Even though the Mac isn’t covered here, the demonstrations shared for the PC should be more than enough to get you started if you’re an experienced Mac user. You’ll discover how Facebook looks via different browsers, and when using NVDA, JAWS, and Narrator.
This event dispels the confusion surrounding Facebook’s accessibility, it’s usability with a screen reader, and how to get the most out of Facebook for your specific needs. While it doesn’t cover everything, we believe there’s enough information here to make sure you have a practical, fun, and rewarding experience with the social network. Here’s how this event will work. Beginning Monday, February 7, you’ll receive a session of comprehensive audio documentation in the Downloads section of your Mystic Access account. You’ll receive a second audio on February 14, and a final one on February 21. Each audio will contain at least one hour of audio explanation and demonstration. Early in March we’ll have a live Q&A session to address your questions. It will be recorded if you’re unable to attend live.
The advantage of the recorded audios is that you can study them on your schedule, at your pace. The live component allows us to come together to discuss, learn about your particular frustrations, and more.
