Braille Bluetooth Keyboards, Sale to Welcome Spring, and an Audio Blast from the Past

Hi, Everyone,

Hope you’re all doing great. Sorry it’s been a while since we’ve written, but hopefully there’s something in today’s newsletter that will prove enjoyable for you.

First, we want to wish you a very happy spring, or fall depending on where you are in the world! While it’s still cold and rainy/snowy where we are, we hope you’re getting some blossoms and sunshine at this point. I know I’m one transplant to the northeast who is longing for spring!

And speaking of blossoms and new things to share, below are a few fun Mystic Access happenings we thought you might like to know about. You can bounce down by heading to move among topics.

Braille Bluetooth Keyboards Available Now

We’re delighted to be offering the awesome new Bluetooth braille keyboards from Logickeyboard. There are versions for Mac and windows, and they feature crisp braille built directly into the keys of each keyboard. Each device includes an on/off switch and a pairing button. There are even braille/large print options available for both Mac and Windows for those of you with some usable vision. Whatever version suits your needs, you’ll get a high-quality keyboard with scissor keys for smooth typing, and, of course, beautiful braille on the keys. Whether you’re just learning braille, want the extra reassurance of having braille under your fingers, or are just looking for a great qwerty keyboard with a fun extra twist, these could work for you. Check out everything we have available from Logickeyboard.

We’re now on Mastodon

As discussed in a few podcasts, we recently decided to join Mastodon, so if you’ve been following us on Twitter and wish to keep up with us again since we’ve gone silent there, you can follow us in our new Mastodon home:

To our knowledge, you must have a Mastodon account yourself to keep up with us there.

Spring Sale

To welcome spring, we have a coupon available that will save you fifteen percent on all digital documentation from now through end of day on Friday, March 31. This discount is not automatically applied at checkout, so you’ll need to enter the code “spring15” without the quotes in the coupon field. Or, visit the following link before you begin your shopping:

Remember that hardware such as the Logickeyboards and any physical media you order are excluded from the sale, but you’ll save on all digital documentation. So, if you order a digital product and want it sent to you on an NLS cartridge, for instance, you’ll get a discount on your documentation, but the NLS cartridge will still be $20, which is full price for that add-on.

If you don’t use the URL above, remember to enter “spring15” in the box prior to checking out, or provide that code if you call to order, at: 716) 543-3323. It’s our way of celebrating spring with some nice discounts.

Free March Event on Spring Cleaning

And speaking of spring, we have a new free event all about spring cleaning coming up on Thursday, March 30, at 8:00 PM eastern time. How do you clean effectively without being able to see all that grime? How do you know if that item is actually squeaky clean? Do we have any cool cleaning gadgets? If you know us, you already know the answer to that one; yes! Bring your own tips and tricks to this event, too, as we’d love to hear them! All the info will be sent to our free events mailing list later this week, as well as closer to the event date. If you can’t make it, the audio download will also be made available on soon after the event.

An audio blast from the past

As promised, I plan to share something from our extensive archives in every newsletter sent from here on out. It could be a free download or podcast. Today, we thought it would be fun to share the very first podcast Chris and I collaborated on together. While we’d known one another for over three years at the time this came out, this was the very first time we recorded together. Listen to how young we sound! Check out this unboxing and demo of the Samsung Galaxy TabS from July 1, 2014. Click here to read more and listen.

Thanks, as always, for being part of our community. we appreciate you!

Warm Wishes,
Chris and Kim
The Mystic Access Team
