Hope you’re all doing great. We’re so excited to announce our first virtual event of 2026 and hope you can join us. We’re looking forward to virtually connecting with everyone again after our long break from hosting events.
This time, we’re going to the library. Yes, the library you may have used as a kid to check out books. Libraries have changed a lot since Chris and I were kids, and probably since you were, too. Did you know you can now get a library card, view your library’s offerings, and check out books from the comfort of home if you want? In this event, we’ll show you how to research your local library online, get a library card, and find items of interest. We’ll also discuss and dive into the Libby and Hoopla services, share how to access them, and talk about their unique offerings.
Even if you aren’t sure your local library is for you, we think you may be surprised how many resources you can access. we’d love to show you how. If you’re looking for a book BARD or your talking book library doesn’t have, are curious about events happening at your local branch, or just wonder how libraries have changed in the 21st century, this event may be fun for you.
We’re meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 8:00 PM eastern time. Bring your questions, comments about your own library experiences, and curiosity. Let’s give our libraries some love.
